A great big THANK YOU! to the readers and nice folks at La Jolla Village News for Brass Ring Multimedia’s THIRD (2014, 2015 & 2016) Reader’s Choice Award for Best Web Design. I grew up in La Jolla, went to Muirlands & La Jolla High and my daughter Amethyst (also Muirlands & LJHS alum) and I live here still. Our town is very special to me and recognition like this is a thrill and an honor. I consider myself very fortunate and am grateful that I get to continue to live and serve my small business clients from our lovely piece

Brass Ring Multimedia WordPress client Wave Loch, who represent the “bleeding edge” of surfing wave technology have revealed their involvement in an exciting new project called “The Wave” in Bristol, UK. Surfers of the world…pay attention…what this means is that you can add farmland in Britain (what?!) to your list of must-visit world-class surf spots. Incredible? Yes…yet no less can be expected from a company founded by surf industry legend Tom Lochtefeld from my hometown of La Jolla who has consistently led the charge and continually pushed the

Through January, his images are on exhibition at La Jolla’s iconic La Valencia Hotel. I’m lucky enough to own one of these gorgeous books and purchased another to gift to friends in London who love and visit La Jolla annually. I met Nick, whom I now call friend (and client), on another Brass Ring

Further, a big thanks to my La Jolla clients like La Jolla Concerts By the Sea, Rotary Club of La Jolla, La Jolla Bar Association and La Jolla Meals On Wheels for letting me be of service. Let’s do it again and make La Jolla shine for yet another year!

One of their members, for whom I’d built several sites already, asked me to review their previous site which had been up for a number of years with an eye towards making it more dynamic and better indicative of the spirit and status of the Association. Their old site really was not conveying the organization in an effective and positive way. As a benefit of membership, each attorney has an individual page upon which to

With a history as broadcaster, deejay and emcee since his youth in the 60’s, Ron undertakes a great new project for our community, The Voice of La Jolla, a podcasting website catering to the uniquely wonderful community of La Jolla, California. (My hometown!) Ron and I have collaborated on numerous website projects in the past together for his businesses and community organizations like La Jolla Concerts By the Sea, Rotary Club of La Jolla and La Jolla Meals On Wheels. This project presented exciting challenges

I owe a debt to the Bird Rock Community Council in my hometown of La Jolla. Some months back, their IT specialist referred me to Doug Wheeler’s wife Jane for a project (which eventually went a different direction). Thankfully, enough of an impression was left that when it came time for husband Doug to launch his latest undertaking, Jane suggested a conversation with me and Brass Ring Multimedia was one of his first calls. We hit it

La Jolla ranked fourth on the list, preceded by three East Coast towns. The magazine called La Jolla one of the “best places to work and play by the sea.” Criteria for the list included well-being index, percentage of sunny days and healthiness of beaches. The standard of living and financial well-being of the locals were also taken into account. La Jolla is

Part of Rotary International, the La Jolla Chapter was chartered in 1947 and has served La Jolla, San Diego and the world by fulfilling its motto: “service above self.” Thanks to outgoing Rotary President and La Jolla “man about town” Mr. Ron Jones, Brass Ring was hired to improve on the previous, out-dated (in more ways than one) and oft-grumbled-about website design. The new site immediately conveys the beauty and uniqueness which is our home community of La Jolla. The site

Having served the La Jolla Community’s home bound citizens since 1974, I’m glad to help their very worthy effort. As I don’t participate in the day to day operations of the organization, I look forward to bringing its volunteers and staff into the website’s growth and evolution by migrating the site into the very robust WordPress platform. In this way, their experience and input can add to the site’s content in making a

Pedro trains his long-time clients, Bill and Lollie at this great location. Pedro is a personal trainer serving individual as well as corporate clients in La Jolla, San Diego and South Bay. We’ve become friends and now, collaborators. Pedro, like many other small business owners, desired greater control, flexibility
