As the webmaster for the concerts, I try to get to as many of the shows as I can to grab pictures and enjoy the great time. Yesterday, I was fortunate to be in attendance at the kick-off of La Jolla Concerts By the Sea’s 28th season. Also, this year, my 16 year old daughter, Amethyst was helping out La Jolla Kiwanis, one of the sponsors for the events. She belongs to Key Club at La Jolla High School and she and some of her fellow Key-clubbers were on hand to help out as volunteers with set-up, concession sales, etc. My

A fun “retro” style site featuring custom Adobe Illustrator “Drive-in Theatre Marquee” logo also created by Brass Ring Multimedia’s Edward A. Sanchez. The site also spotlights a Home Page Adobe Flash presentation featuring iconic memories from the 50’s, 60’s, 70’s & 80’s. Boomer DJ’s is a La Jolla, California based entertainment company catering to the special event needs of La Jolla, San Diego & Southern California’s “baby boomers.” A division of Allegro Entertainment, Boomer DJ’s was founded by Allegro operator and SoCal favorite “Ron J” Jones, the “Voice of La Jolla.

I created this image for La Jolla Meals On Wheels. Wanting a soft, impressionistic feel, I used some of the artistic filters, etc. in Adobe Photoshop, one of my favorite playthings.
