Our Process – The Brass Ring Difference

Over and over, I’ve asked my clients that question, “what makes YOUR business special?” Based on that answer, we make sure to tailor our WordPress website solution to highlight that uniqueness. Often, I have to help them answer that question. You’d be surprised how many of us haven’t taken the time to ask questions like this so critical to our business’s success.

Therefore, the question on the table was, what makes a Brass Ring Multimedia WordPress website design a better WordPress website? Working with WordPress exclusively for several years now for  many clients has taught me much about how to make WordPress better. Starting with its installation (NO hosting company installers…yikes!), how I set up a client’s hosting account, how I install WordPress (cleaner, neater, easier for people with multiple sites), and the numerous extra features I add to make an already great platform EXTRA cool!

So…that brings me to our new “Our Process – The Brass Ring Difference” page. Newly put up, it lays out, in one page, how and why I do what I love while providing superior benefit to my Brass Ring Multimedia clients. I’d been meaning to do it for some time…just hadn’t gotten ’round to it (sigh). Oddly enough, what prompted me to do it was seeing an email from a competitor trying to poach one of my design clients. I visited their site…meh…but, I did get reminded, so…I acted.

And then there’s security. I’ve seen my clients hacked (their old sites, not “mine”). I and my clients have been bombarded with spam…it’s no fun. I started by recommending such things as anti-spam, safer WordPress code to defeat hacking attempts, automated back-ups so that, if something were to fail or corrupt the site (it happens), we wouldn’t have to go through the rigors of rebuilding. I no longer make those suggestions, I include them. I don’t like walking away from a build knowing that there’s vulnerabilities simply because the client didn’t want to “pay extra.” Security is no longer an extra…it’s standard equipment.

I want my clients, like myself with my sites, to have the peace of mind of knowing that their website is effective, easier, more secure. That it’s ready, 24/7 for them to login from ANY browser to make changes to my content and marketing…that’s the power and ease of WordPress.
