I’d done previous work for his webmaster (see “Cash Faucet” post earlier) on behalf of technology giant Hewlett-Packard. This was particularly challenging because the photos I was given to work from were snapshots taken under less than optimal conditions. I’ve found that, when that happens (especially when the budget’s tight), I turn the lemons into lemonade by using the “obstacle” as the guide for the art. The blurriness of the originals begat the direction of the digital final product.
