He’s “my gunsmith.” I was pleased with the opportunity to build one of my $397 WordPress specials for him including an upgrade to the existing Gussler’s logo. Gussler’s was established in 1988 and expanded in 2005 to include gun shows and internet transfers. At the local gun shows they proved ourselves as a transfer dealer for private party transfers and a place for out of area dealers to transfer guns to and for local residents to start and complete federal and state mandated

This has been a favorite project of mine. I enjoyed participating in Ray Ehly, Jr.’s roadtrip. He took museum delivery (at the Corvette Museum adjacent to the Corvette Plant in Bowling Green, Kentucky) of a brand-new, top of the line Corvette Z06. He then drove it in ONE CONTINOUS loop to “ALL 50” United States. (Yes, Hawaii and Alaska too.) You can read all about it on the site I did for Ray in 2003. Sundiata Kata has dedicated his musical career to bringing joy and the magic of music to the community’s children, youth, and adults. He first designed a healing music program for emotionally disturbed children at San Diego Center for Children in 1988 and since then has developed percussion programs for companies, hospitals, hospices, after-school programs, and service organizations. “The heart,” he says, “is the original drum that gives each of us natural musical ability. Contemporary, yet retro and time-less design focus on antique typewriter keys and graphic featuring the word “idea” along with a background which shows words winding in an around each other. Norma-Jean (as am I) is a “purple fan,” hence the tinting. I’m quite fond and proud of this design.

The client wanted a “treasure” (obviously) themed web design so the navigation buttons are doubloons, there are all kinds of tropical and “piratical” imagery throughout. Fun site to design and build…had my mouth watering for travel. Logo design became part of, and a natural off-shoot of the web-site design. Treasure Vacations is a travel company based in San Diego, California which dedicates itself to Honeymoon vacations. They provide all-inclusive trips to beautiful and exotic locales in virtually every corner of the globe.
