Boomer DJ’s “Drive-in Theatre Marquee” Logo Design

Created as part of website project for La Jolla’s “Ron J” Jones‘ company Boomer DJ’s. Using Adobe Illustrator, this creation is part of an identity campaign intended to appeal to the Baby Boomer Generation. Some of the most iconic, best-loved, easily identified and oft missed art of the 50’s, 60’s, 70’s and 80’s is the drive-in theatre, which was one of the great showcases of beautiful neon art. This design pays loving homage to that wonderful artform. Boomer DJ’s is an entertainment company providing DJ & Master-of-Ceremonies services for “baby boomer” oriented events.

A fun “retro” style site featuring custom Adobe Illustrator “Drive-in Theatre Marquee” logo also created by Brass Ring Multimedia’s Edward A. Sanchez. The site also spotlights a Home Page Adobe Flash presentation featuring iconic memories from the 50’s, 60’s, 70’s & 80’s. Boomer DJ’s is a La Jolla, California based entertainment company catering to the special event needs of La Jolla, San Diego & Southern California’s “baby boomers.” A division of Allegro Entertainment, Boomer DJ’s was founded by Allegro operator and SoCal favorite “Ron J” Jones, the “Voice of La Jolla.
